Pastor Edward Taylor was born and reared in Jackson, MS. After the Lord delivered him from drug addiction, Pastor Edward Taylor began running for the Lord like never before.

After accepting his call to the ministry in 1993, he was licensed as a minister in 1997 and ordained as Elder in 2006 in the Church of God in Christ. After evangelizing for 10 years, he was called to pastorialship in August 2011. He now serves as the Founder and Pastor of the El Shaddai Temple Church of God in Christ in Dallas, Texas.

Pastor Edward Taylor has served as Sunday School Superintendent, YPWW President and currently serves as the District Treasurer for the Elijah Kelley Sr Memorial District, National Adjutant, Special Assistant and Team East Leader for the Texas Northeast #4 Jurisdictional Evangelistic Department under the leadership of Bishop Nathiel Wells, Jurisdictional Prelate.

Pastor Edward Taylor is also a dedicated husband and father.  He and Elect Lady Tangela Taylor have been married for 12 years and have 5 lovely children.  Pastor Edward Taylor is rich in wisdom and seasoned in the Holy Ghost. Because he’s passionate about soul winning, he ignites the atmosphere with a prophetic word and delivers what “thus saith the Lord” even when it’s not popular. He is also well known for his Annual Tent Revivals. Most of all, Pastor Edward Taylor still has a zeal for God’s work and is excited about what God is doing in his life. The future looks bright as he continues to ”Walk by Faith, not by Sight”!
